MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Akron dominates in the circle in game one shutting down the high powered CMU offense to win, 3-0, but the Chippewas came back in game two and scored five runs midway through the game as Akron and Central Michigan split the first two games of the weekend in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
"We started the day off well in game one. Erin (Seiler) pitched very well to keep a good CMU offense in check and we found ways to score," said head coach Julie Jones. "We need to hit the ball to win and game two we did the opposite.
