HOLLYWOOD – Rich Rodriguez doesn’t hide from what happened at Arizona last year. The sixth-year UA coach wants to learn from it.
“I don’t think you should bury your head in the sand and kind of pretend it wasn’t there,” Rodriguez said at Wednesday’s first day of Pac-12 Media Days. “It was there. You’ve got to evaluate yourself, your staff, your program and everything that you’re doing so you don’t go through it again.”
Crippled by injuries, Arizona last season went 3-9, finishing last in the Pac-12 South. Conference media doesn’t think much will change, slotting the Wildcats last in the South once again, just behind rival Arizona State.
