After a tough loss, be it Atlanta United or the USMNT, I take it pretty hard. I care a lot about the soccer teams I support. I love this sport. What happens on the field is all I care about. All the controversies, records broken, whatever, they are just noise to me.
So, as I lay in bed at 3:30 a.m., trying to get over another brutal loss less than a month after seeing the U.S. men fail to qualify for the World Cup, this one seems a little bit easier to take.
It’s not the fact that Atlanta United didn’t win MLS Cup that’s hard to take.
