If Sunday’s game is to be Frank Gore’s final appearance in a Colts uniform, the future Hall of Famer went out with a bang.
Gore carried the ball 24 times for 100 yards — gaining 88 in the second half — as Indianapolis rallied for a 22-13 victory over the Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium.
During the process, the 34-year-old running back became just the fifth player in NFL history to reach the 14,000-yard career rushing mark.
“Great player,” Houston head coach Bill O’Brien said. “I’ve been watching him in this league for a long time.
