INDIANAPOLIS -- There is far more interest in what will happen after Sunday's regular-season finale at Lucas Oil Stadium than anything that happens on the field between the Colts and Texans.
Both teams have long since been eliminated from playoff contention. Both carry long losing streaks into the contest. And both soon will have decisions to make considering their head coaches' futures.
Indianapolis' Chuck Pagano set the tone early in the week, terming this his team's "last rodeo."
"It’s our last ride together," Pagano said. "No team that I’ve ever been a part of has ever been the same, regardless of the record.
