After more than two full seasons of showing lots of promise, but also lots of inconsistency, Kansas State junior Dean Wade has turned himself into one of the best players in the Big 12 this year in conference play — and clearly the best stretch-4 in the conference.
So don’t be surprised if he earns first-team All Big 12 honors after the season. And don’t be shocked if it’s unanimous.
Statistically, Wade is having the best season by a K-State player since Rodney McGruder’s 2012-13 campaign. According to Sports Reference, Wade has 5.
