Former UFC title challenger Jorge Masvidal may not be done with the Octagon just yet. Masvidal revealed this week that he is actively training for a potential return to action and hopes that comeback comes at the UFC’s planned White House event, a once-in-a-generation card expected to celebrate former President Donald Trump’s birthday and the United States’ 250th anniversary.
While rumors have intensified about a possible matchup with Conor McGregor, Masvidal stopped short of confirming or denying that the Irish star could be his opponent. Speaking on MMA Junkie Radio, Masvidal acknowledged the speculation but made it clear that details surrounding his return are being kept tightly under wraps
“Some of it is like level-five only access, so I can’t really say too much,” Masvidal said.
