MIAMI – The Thunder’s success in defensive rebounding has been sporadic this season.
Few teams in the league are more dangerous on the fast break after getting a defensive rebound, as the Thunder is fifth in fast-break points (18.1 per game). But even during its six-game winning streak, the defensive glass has been a weakness for the Thunder.
OKC is 20th in the league in defensive rebounding rate in its last six games, pulling down just 71.3 percent of opponents’ misses. The Heat, the Thunder's opponent on Friday, is fourth in the NBA in offensive rebounding rate, grabbing 29.
