LeGarrette Blount on roster bubble with Philadelphia Eagles?

has gotten off to a slow start in preseason games with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Blount, who signed a one-year contract reportedly worth up to $2.8 million, has gained just 17 yards on nine carries in the first two preseason games. Blount's sluggish beginning has reportedly placed him in danger of being cut by the Eagles, according to some reports.

Nj.com speculated Blount's in trouble because he's been "less than inspiring" in the first two preseason games and "struggled to get to the corner" on off-tackle plays. Blount also isn't a great receiver coming out of the backfield, a necessity in coach Doug Pederson's offense.
