Burch earned a quarterback's red, no-contact jersey early in the second week of preseason camp and some measured praise from Taggart for the athleticism he brings to the position. By Thursday, however, he was back in a white jersey and working primarily with the receivers, after spending some time warming up with quarterbacks. Though Herbert is a "star in the making," as Taggart has said, the depth at this position is tenuous.
