Toronto started the night with picks four, 24 and 65 in the first 70 selections. They finished the night with Mitchell Marner, the 34th, 61st, 65th and 68th.
That’s good news for the Leafs because they needed more picks – and some of the players they could have targeted at 24 are still going to be on the board at 34 after some interesting selections by other teams.
