Toronto Maple Leafs: No Kadri, No Problem

According to some people, teams that lose the first game of a best of seven on the road have about a 25% chance of winning the series. For the Toronto Maple Leafs, the odds are significantly worse.

Having also lost Nazem Kadri on a B.S call that doesn’t line up with any of the NHL’s past attempts to hand out justice – for three games!!! – the Leafs are in tight.

Did Kadri smash a vulnerable player in the head? Sure he did.

Should the NHL allow that kind of thing? Absolutely not.

But am I pissed off that the NHL chose the Toronto Maple Leafs to finally take a stand against the kind of thing they’ve tacitly allowed for years?
