The Toronto Maple Leafs best puck mover from the back end is Jake Gardiner, though Morgan Rielly is catching up.
Despite his puck skills, Gardiner has never been able to eclipse the 31 point mark which is surprising given how well he moves the puck.
Part of that has to do with the atrocious rosters the Toronto Maple Leafs have iced during his time in blue and white. Well, those days are almost over and this year Gardiner will be moving the puck up to the most talented group of forwards he’s been teammates with at the NHL level.
