U.S. coach Bruce Arena says he will name the Seattle Sounders forward to his roster for matches against Honduras and Panama later this month.
U.S. national team coach Bruce Arena will call in Clint Dempsey for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Arena, who took over the U.S. program after back-to-back qualifying losses last fall, told FS1's Colin Cowherd that Dempsey will be on the team to face Honduras and Panama.
"He's a player I believe in one of these two matches can step on the field in the last 15-20 minutes and help us get a goal," Arena told The Herd.
