2016 LB Chris Hunter gives UTEP a third LB commit

Yesterday was about offense, today the defense had its day in the recruiting spotlight.

Tacoma, Washington linebacker Chris Hunter has confirmed to North West Prep Report that he has verbally committed to UTEP, the sixth verbal commit to come from UTEP's big weekend of official visits.

The 6'3, 215 pound athlete was a two-way star for Lakes High School where he caught 54 passes for 1,081 yards, and seven touchdowns on offense, and racked up 14 sacks and a fumble recovery on the defensive side this past season.

By watching his film, it appears Hunter can immediately help UTEP at the outside linebacker spot with a natural skill set already molded for an outside linebacker.
