Once again, Conference USA is coming down to a clean ending, though it does not feature de facto division title games like last season.
What little drama there is comes in the East, where first place Western Kentucky has to beat last place Marshall to hold off upstart Old Dominion, which could win the East with a victory at home over Florida International and a WKU loss.
Also at stake is home field for the championship game, where the East winner will probably need West winner Louisiana Tech to lose Friday at it's rival Southern Miss to avoid the trip to Ruston.
