Conference USA's Western Division once again is winding down to an orderly conclusion, with Louisiana Tech hosting UTSA in what could be a de facto title game.
If Louisiana Tech (5-1 in league) wins as a three-touchdown favorite, they are the champions. If UTSA (4-2) wins there is a potential three-way tie in the loss column along with Southern Miss (3-2), but the Roadrunners would hold serve with a sweep of the head-to-head.
UTSA put itself in that position with a stunning 45-25 win at Middle Tennessee when Blue Raider quarterback Brent Stockstill was knocked out for the rest of the regular season with a broken collar bone.
