Conference USA issued two half-game suspensions following a wild melee between Western Kentucky and Old Dominion Saturday.
ODU safety Christian Byrum, listed fourth at his position on the depth chart, will miss the first half against UTEP while Western Kentucky reserve running back Anthony Wales has the same punishment against Florida Atlantic.
"I feel good that both teams did the best job they could in separating things on both sides of the ball," WKU coach Jeff Brohm said after his team's 59-24 victory. "I think the fact that we were able to continue playing the game and nothing else happened, then we shook hands after the game, were positives for all.
