El Paso teacher ready to make pro MMA debut

When someone is having as much fun as Cynthia "Sin" Arceo is right now, when work seems so much like play, juggling two jobs classifies as a dream rather than a chore.

That's the message the 26-year-old gives to her children at her day job, where she's a second-grade teacher at Dowell Elementary, an El Paso ISD school in the Northeast.

Her other job - and it officially becomes a profession on Saturday - is as a mixed martial arts fighter, and this weekend she makes her pro debut in Ontario, Calif., against Peggy "The Truth" Ross, a strawweight fight that is one of four main events in the King of the Cage promotion at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
