The only enigma in looking at UTEP's depth chart is the health of some very, very important players.
First off, Sean Kugler said on the Monday that Ryan Metz is going through the concussion protocol, and his status will not be known until he clears those hurdles.
Kugler did say that Metz's performance on Saturday lifted him in being the starter going forward once his health has been cleared.
"We're looking for a spark and he gave us that." Kugler said about Ryan Metz. "He made plays with his legs, Ryan is a fierce competitor, and he brought the spark we were looking for.
