Briana Green admits than when she first saw the Harlem Globetrotters as a little girl in the mid-1990s, she didn't associate the dazzling basketball in front of her with a career.
The legendary franchise that was founded in 1926 started including female players in 1985 - then they were generally the biggest stars of the women's game - but when Green saw them in 1996, that really didn't register with her.
"When I was 6-years-old, my aunt took me to my first Harlem Globetrotters game," recalled Green, who went on to become a standout for the UTEP women's team for four years, including a championship team her senior season in 2012.
