How former UTEP star Lang became Giants’ TE hope

Free-agent tight end Cedrick Lang stood out during the first day of the Giants rookie minicamp Friday. That had more to do with him being the tallest player, at 6-foot-7, than anything he did on the field.

Lang did catch all three passes thrown his way during competitive drills, which can’t hurt as he tries to overcome long odds to earn a spot on the 2016 roster.
