From a standpoint of the rest of the season, UTEP can't afford to lose. Any roadmap to a winning season includes a victory at home as a 10-point favorite against a team likely missing its best offensive (tailback Larry Rose III) and defensive (linebacker Derek Ibekwe) players.
The pressure is on the UTEP sideline.
