UTEP led from beginning to end in Game 1 and scrambled back with an impressive rally in Game 2 to earn a doubleheader sweep over North Texas on Saturday afternoon at Helen of Troy Field.

And those wins improved the Miners to 12-8 in the chase for the Conference USA West Division title.
