“We’re very excited about the start of the year. It’s always great to have opening day at your own stadium. I was really overwhelmed the other night, we had our Minerpalooza [preseason pep rally] with close to 20,000 fans showing up to support our athletics programs and the energy was outstanding. I’m hoping that carries over to the game on Saturday night. We’re expecting a great crowd.
