Norman, Okla. — The UTEP defense almost certainly won't face a better quarterback this year than No. 7 Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield, or a better line, or a better tight end than Mark Andrews, or, most importantly of all, a better team.

That's good, because in a 56-7 road loss to the Sooners on Saturday, the Miners lacked any semblance of an answer to any of them, or really, anything the OU offense did until the back-ups came in to start the third quarter.
