This has been one of the most trying weeks in the history of Army football, as the team has been mourning the loss of cornerback Brandon Jackson, who died in an automobile accident Sunday morning.
The first decision the team made is that it was coming to El Paso.
"We will play," coach Jeff Monken said during his Tuesday press conference. "That is a decision that the team was adamant about; they wanted to play. We decided that, as a group, if we were going to play then we were going to do it in the best way possible by preparing.
