For the second time in three days, UTEP's practice was suspended after a lightning strike, which will now lead to a change in the workout schedule.
Trainer Dawn Hearn didn't have to tell anyone to get off the field Sunday, as a lightning bolt ripped down near the practice field and immediately sent everyone scuttling back to the hotel.
The upshot is the team will now move its workouts up an hour to 8:45 a.m. That would have been perfect Sunday, as the practice was suspended at 11:10 a.m., about 85 minutes into what was originally supposed to be a two-hour workout.
