RUIDOSO, N.M. — UTEP isn't going to give extensive time to many of its starters in Sunday's camp-closing scrimmage, but it could go a long way toward sorting out the three-way quarterback battle.
Coach Sean Kugler said the format will be similar to the first scrimmage, plus there will be a "backed-up" session in which the offense starts near its own goal line and tries to punch the ball out. That was something UTEP was going to work on in Tuesday's afternoon workout that got rained out.
"We're going to look at a lot of young guys.
