Seda emerging as offensive threat

The UTEP women's basketball team's search for offense is ongoing, but eight games into the season, they've found it in the most obvious place.

They've found it in their 6-foot-4 battleship center, Tamara Seda, a junior who finally is emerging as the offensive force they hoped she would be when she transferred in last year from Seward Community College.

As UTEP gets ready for its Thursday night rivalry game with New Mexico State, she is suddenly their biggest force.

"After a couple of games, I had to realize I had to get more aggressive," the native of Maputo, Mozambique said.
