UTEP's fall Camp Ruidoso will climax Sunday with a two-hour scrimmage that will largely set the depth chart as the team heads back to El Paso. It is set for 8:45 a.m. and is open to the public.
Coach Sean Kugler and the staff haven't figured out which star players they will hold out of the scrimmage, though he said "guys like Alvin Jones and Will Hernandez won't play."
The only front-line players who will miss the scrimmage for health reasons are linebacker Jayson Van Hook (dislocated shoulder, but he could be back before the Oklahoma opener) and tight end David Lucero (he should be back next week).
