UTEP began Oklahoma preparation in earnest Wednesday as the team rotated two huddles for team scrimmage segments, then divided into scout work late in the practice.
The scout team this year will not wear green jerseys, a break from a tradition going back more than 10 years. The offense wears blue and the defense white so distinguishing a scout team is not necessary.
“We got a lot of work done, this is the first day we were working on Oklahoma stuff,” coach Sean Kugler said. “We got lot of quality work in.”
“It was good, but there’s still a lot of things we can correct,” quarterback Ryan Metz said.
