UTEP quite simply crushed the field in the Price's Give Em Five Invitational at Butterfield Trail Golf Course.
The Miners shot 15 under par Sunday to put an exclamation point on their victory, finishing with a team total of 829, a whopping 35 under par for the 54-hole event and 13 shots ahead of second place UTSA in the 11-team event.
UTSA's Zander Lozano won the individual title with rounds of 66-70-66 for a three-day total of 14 under par 202. UTEP's Andreas Sorenson was two heartbeats back at 12 under par 204. Sorenson had rounds of 66-70-68.
