UTEP finds new starters on veteran o-line

On paper, the UTEP offensive line should be the most stable unit this spring.

The Miners return four starters, those four are healthy and the new offensive scheme affects them less than the skill positions.

But there's a flip side to that. Sean Kugler has made good on his promise to load up on offensive linemen through recruiting, and with three full classes and part of a fourth now on the field, there's competition from tackle to tackle.

At the moment, that line has three new starters, not one, in tackle Jerrod Brooks, guard John De La Rosa who has moved over from tackle, and center Tanner Stallings, a junior college transfer brought in specifically to replace the graduated Eric Lee.
