The UTEP football team gets to show its work from the past 14 practices in Friday's 6 p.m. spring game, and while it in some senses is just the third of three scrimmages, it's an exciting time for the players.
"The spring game is a time to put it all together and give us a good starting point for fall and for summer workouts," quarterback Ryan Metz said. "This is my fourth spring game, I want to try to make it better than the last three. It's going to be awesome."
"The spring game is always exciting, especially now that I'm going to be out there more," senior guard Derek Elmendorff said.
