UTEP will renew an old rivalry, continue an old rivalry and play in a pair of tournaments in the 2016-2017 basketball season.
The Miners will play at New Mexico on Dec. 7, renewing an old rivalry ... one that has been dormant since that NIT game in March 2011 in Albuquerque. The Lobos will play in El Paso the following season.
And, of course, UTEP will play its annual two-game series with New Mexico State — hosting the Aggies in the Don Haskins Center on Friday, Dec. 13, then taking on the Aggies Friday, Dec. 30 in Las Cruces.
