The early part of UTEP's indoor track season is over, the two-meet run-in to the Conference USA Championships is on.
UTEP travels to the Texas A&M Invitational this weekend, and while the season is young, it already has quite a bit of form, good and bad, for the Miners.
"The preseason is over, this is the real deal," coach Mika Laaksonen said. "We saw a lot of ability on the women's side, but we're not very sharp yet. The next two meets need to be very competitive. There are a lot of Power 5 teams (at Texas A&M), very good competition.
