Barreiro fell in love with soccer as a tiny little girl. The love has only grown. It is her passion, her life ... her dream. She is excited for her senior season at UTEP as the Miners prepare to open the season against New Mexico State Friday night at University Field. She is almost bubbling with excitement and anticipation, talking non-stop about her teammates and their skill and their fitness level.
Yet there is another emotion involved, too.
