KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Washington State women's soccer team has earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2019-20 academic year for their work in the classroom. A total of 889 college teams (333 men, 556 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 172 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients.
Last season, the Cougs finished the year with a 3.25 GPA.
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of high school and college soccer teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full school year.
