On March 13, 2020 the NCAA made an announcement stating that all in-person recruiting across all NCAA Division-1 athletics would come to a halt. That 14-month dead period officially ended today meaning Washington State can now host recruits as well as visit them and their families.
Cougars head coach Nick Rolovich had been in his new role for two months when the announcement came from the NCAA and has since not been able to host or visit recruits. That did not stop him from trying new and interesting ways to get to know recruits including a time where he taped his phone to his hat and rode a bike around the campus and town to try and get a recruit to see what Pullman was like.
